I have been exactly were you are now and I was one of those profitless marketing beginners for quite some time. This was partly because of my inexperience and partly because of my lack of vision.

One Marketing Beginners Struggle
I have often wondered where I would be right now if I hadn't discovered Wealthy Affiliate. I had been searching the web for almost a year, trying dozens of plans and programs to make some extra money. I , like many beginners marketing in their first year, spent hundreds, no, thousands of dollars, not to mention wasting all my time, on every new gimmick that promised to make me rich beyond my wildest dreams.
Looking back I now realize that even though some of the stuff was alright, I wasn't going to ever make any bank because I was not focused. Like a kid in the candy store, my hands were so full of candy that I couldn't even unwrap a piece and eat it!
For a little over three months the solution to my marketing beginners problem was staring me in the face. I had run into Wealthy Affiliate 5 or 6 times, but was so skittish from losing money on bogus programs I couldn't see past the monthly membership fee that frightened the bejesus out of me. I read a post about Wealthy Affiliateone day and it basically said I was a coward not to admit that I needed some help.
Well no one insults me and gets away with it! I decided it was time to ask for directions. I joined and guess what, I have never regretted the decision. It was exactly what I needed. I have been there for a little over a year now and though I am not getting rich. I am earning some money on a daily basis using the skills and techniques taught to me at Wealthy Affiliate.
Beginners Marketing - Newbie Jump Start
Beginners marketing often get stuck in the mud right off the bat. They are learning so much new stuff and it is fun, but when it comes to taking some action they are bogged down. Well it is times like these that you need to lock it into 4 wheel drive. Crawl out of that hole with some action. It dosen't have to be complicated, just keep it simple. Here is a simple technique that will get you moving.
Pick a product to promote. A great place start is at the Clickbank network. If you are unfamiliar with Clickbank you can get a FREE guide here. Joe Average Clickbanking Guide. Once you have a product to promote you will need to register a Way Cool Domain. Here is what I mean.
If you are promoting a product called UnStuck.com, than some Way Cool Domains to register would be GetUnStuck.com, BuyUnStuck.com, UnStuckNow.com, get the idea? You are using something that involves the actual product's name and is easy to remember for the customer. Be sure to get a dot com. People remember these well and won't get confused by the .info or .net or any other extensions.
Once your domain is registered have it forwarded to your affiliate link. Forwarding is available from your registrar for free. It is like having your mail forwarded when you move only it is your domain. That's it! How easy can it get? You have no website or hosting to worry about. 100% of your traffic reaches the product sales page and now all you have to do is generate traffic to your Way Cool Domain.
This is a technique I have written about in a tutorial at Wealthy Affiliate. They have what is called the Share Zone. It is where members can make tutorials that are free for the rest of the members.
